To provide accessible, career-focused credentials that help Hawaiʻi residents enter and advance in accounting and tax professions, regardless of prior work experience, current economic standing, or degree status.
Becoming an Enrolled Agent (EA) opens the door to professional tax careers in accounting firms, financial services, and independent tax practices. EAs are federally licensed by the IRS and authorized to represent taxpayers in all 50 states. This program provides structured preparation, exam support, and guidance through the licensing process so participants can move toward stable, in-demand employment or self-employment in tax services.
Becoming a Certified Public Bookkeeper (CPB) demonstrates professional competency in ledger accounting, bookkeeping, and payroll services for businesses and individuals. CPBs are nationally certified through the National Association of Certified Public Bookkeepers (NACPB) and recognized for their expertise in maintaining accurate financial records, preparing financial statements, and supporting sound business decision-making.
Tuition may be covered for eligible participants on O'ahu through WIOA workforce training funding. Eligibility and approval are determined by the local Workforce Development Board.
Professional Pathways LLC is currently applying for approval as an Eligible Training Provider.
